Fast Learning Chinese offers unparalleled Chinese language instruction to students of all levels and needs. Founded in 2007, Fast Learning Chinese has established itself as one of the most popular and highly-rated Chinese language schools in the New York City area. Our unique and dynamic program will help students learn Mandarin Chinese easily and quickly. We focus on our students listening, speaking, reading and writing ability during each and every lesson.
I must candidly say that I began “Fast Learning Chinese” with great skepticism. I could not fathom that anyone could
teach me so rapidly to speak even the most basic Chinese. After all Mandarin has a (justified) reputation as a very
difficult language for many reasons. But I am thrilled to report that I have acquired a rather comfortable level of
spoken basic Chinese. Yes, learning a new language is an ongoing process, the practice must continue, and I know I
will be making mistakes. But I have been pleasantly rewarded by Chinese speakers who complimented me not only
for my vocabulary but more importantly for my pronunciation and intonation! If you open your mind, if you listen
carefully, if you do the work, and if you’re unafraid to imitate Dina’s diction, you will find the program works very well.

Dina Shen is an enthusiastic and passionate teacher who has designed all her lessons to be both interesting and
understandable. She is able to successfully lead her students by optimizing her classes to maximize learning in the shortest amount of time. Ultimately, she cares about her students,tracks progress, and wants everyone to enjoy her lessons.
Dina Shen has been more then 20 years in teaching mandarin Chinese, and have helped thousands of students overcome the Chinese language barrier successfully.
Programs Overview
We have tailored our programs to fit any level and any need. Each level builds upon vocabulary and concepts from the previous level. We highly recommend completing all the classes in one level before moving onto the next
Level 1
Level 1 has 22 lessons, it is for all beginners. It serves as a solid foundation for learning Chinese.
Level 2
Level 2 has 28 lessons, it drastically increases and builds upon your vocabulary, speaking, reading, and writing abilities.
Level 3
Level 3 has 28 lessons, it is a thorough program for advanced students. Each lesson is one hour long.
Level 4
Level 4 has 34 lessons. The goal of this level is to help students read and write proficiently in Chinese.
